Reading for me is a way to relax. I can go home, make a cup of coffee and read for a couple of hours. Reading opens my eyes to a lot of things in life whether they are big or little. The satisfaction I get from reading is very tremendous. When I am alone and at home it is also something productive to do. I am not a big fan of TV or going outside so I just like to sit in bed and kind of transport somewhere else through a book. Reading also gives me company, if the book is well written I can sometimes feel like I personally know the characters. Reading brings out every emotion in me as well. Sometimes a romance book will make me cry or a comedic book will make me laugh. Reading all around is something I enjoy a lot, even though I don’t make the time for it every day it is still a big priority in my life.

  1. I loved when you said that you "personally know the characters". This is exactly how I feel and why I love reading so much. Being able to connect with the book and really emerse yourself in what is happening is truly my favorite part about reading.

  2. I agree that reading a book can bring out a characters emotions and that I should set out sometime to read everyday.

  3. I like your phrasing of books giving us company. And thanks for including the Elizabeth Scott quote.
